H1N1 UPDATE

After the long wait, we've received our shipment of H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine. Unfortunately we only received a limited amount of vaccines so we are immunizing our patients and their family members who are higher-risk first.

These patients and parents who meet the following criteria are encouraged to call our office as soon as possible to make an appointment to be immunized:

• Infants 6 months old to children 4 years old.
• Household contacts & caregivers of infants under 6 months old.
• Any age child or parent with a chronic pulmonary condition (including asthma), cardiovascular, renal, hepatic, cognitive, neurologic/neuromuscular, hematologic or metabolic condition.
• Pregnant women.

We will be scheduling appointments for:

• Wednesday, November 4th after 2 pm
• Friday, November 6th after 2 pm
• Saturday, November 7th from 9 am to 1 pm

You MUST call for an appointment to be seen. We absolutely WILL NOT see patients on a walk-in basis. These are special hours of operation for administering the H1N1 vaccine and will be scheduled for short amounts of time; please be punctual in your arrival.

Again, our supply of the vaccine is limited therefore appointments and vaccines are on a first-come-first-served basis.
